Indian Breads - #11 Chapatis and Phulkas

"Uttar bhartiya Khana hai adhura,  Jab tak thali mein na saje Chapati ya Phulka" In this new series in Indian breads i am gonna make some most commonly cooked Indian breads across Indian homes. In today's post I am sharing the making of Chapatis and Phulkas.  Preparation time: 25mins Cooking time: 2-3 minutes per Chapati/ Phulka Serves : 4 Chapatis/ Phulkas Ingredients: Atta ( Wheat Flour) : One cup Namak ( Salt) : 1 Tspn Tel ( Cooking Oil) : 1 Tspn Paani ( Water) : As required Preparation method: 1. In a big bowl take one cup of wheat flour, add 1 Tspn salt and Oil and mix thoroughly. 2. Start adding water slowly and gradually. Make a medium soft dough and keep it for rest covered by a cloth for 15-20 minutes. 3. Light up the gas stove on medium flame and place a Chapati pan ( Tawa) and allow it to heat up. 4. "Khud pe karo thoda bharosa, start with this easy to make Rawa Dosa" Yes, in this Beginner's Series video I am trying to help you learn how to make one of the most simplest breakfast recipe. If you are new to cooking or want to learn some easy to cook simple food for breakfast, try making this Rawa Dosa. Ingredients: Rawa/ Sooji ( Semolina) - 1 cup Namak ( Salt) - 1 Tsp or as per taste Hari Mirch ( Green Chillies) - 1 medium Jeera (Cummin Seeds) - 1 Tspn Khane ka Soda (Baking Soda) - 1/2 Tspn  Gunguna Paani ( Lukewarm water) - Approx 1/2 cup or as required Tel ( Cooking oil) - To grease the pan Paani ( Water) - 1/2 cup or as required Serves 1 Preparation time: 8-10 minutes Cooking time : 3-4 mins per Dosa 1. For some Coffee is probably the first thing in the morning which they look forward to have, and yet there are many who do not know how to make one, and hence this is the first recipe I am sharing on my YouTube channel "ALCHEMYINKITCHEN" Ingredients: Water ( Paani) : 1 + 1/3 cups Coffee Powder  : 2 Tsp Sugar ( Cheeni) : 3 Tsp Milk ( Doodh) :  A little above 3/4 cup Portion : Serves 1  Preparation time: About 4-6 minutes Preparation method: 1. In a pan/ bowl take a little over 3/4 cups of milk and place it over the gas on high/ medium flame. 2. In a cup take 2 Tspn coffee, 3 Tspn sugar, two Tspn water and whip well tobform a fluffy mix. 3.
